Fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP), by using resins approved for food contact, is suitable for the storage, fermentation and reaction of many materials such as wine, milk, soy sauce, vinegar, pure water, food ingredient of ion grade, hydrochloric acid of food grade, seawater desalination and storage system, seawater transportation system, etc.

To make the fiberglass products to meet the food and wine and pure water requirement, the available raw materials especially the resins should be specified in advance. Then after the reasonable fabrication process and post treatment, fiberglass products can be used for food industry.

To meet the FDA standards, the resins are subjected to a migration test in accordance with current standards for liquid as well as dry foods.
