molded frp gratings are manufactured in a one piece construction which results in a bi-directionally strong product. This allows openings for piping or cables in the grating of up to 10” without any additional support required (may vary depending on grating depth and location of opening). During the molded manufacturing process, the continuous fiberglass rovings are completely covered in a high percentage of resin, 65% by volume. With this high resin content, molded gratings are the most chemically resistant gratings offered and are often used in caustic chemical environments without hesitation.

Standard Colors stocked are Light Gray, Green and Yellow in sizes:

Custom Colors & Sizes:

• Since we own and operate our factory, we are able to custom manufacture any color from the RAL color chart, provide translucent grating for an architecturally aesthetically attractive appearance and manufacture custom panel sizes for large, repetitive applications.

Gratings & Covers

Surface types:

• Concave Surface (meniscus profile) – This is how the grating comes naturally out of the mold. The raised edges form a lip which offers slip resistance.
• Grit Surface – Excellent slip resistant surface
  • Barefoot Grit - Perfect for Water park applications or parks where little feet may be barefoot yet still require slip resistance.
  • Standard Grit - Most commonly used
  • Aluminum Oxide Grit - Heavy Industrial Application
• Smooth Surface – Great for Bar Screens at Wastewater Treatment plants or Architectural applications
• Conductive Black Grit Surface - For use in high static areas. When grounded, the conductive surface allows the build-up of dangerous static electricity to be drained from the surface.
